We believe that your child's journey to and from school can be a valuable part of a healthy lifestyle, both as part of quality time with parents and carers and as an opportunity to be physically active. We have facilities for children to cycle and skoot to school and would encourage families to travel by non-car means whenever possible. There are obvious benefits to individuals, the environment, and traffic levels by traveling in the fresh air whether on foot or two wheels. Even if you don't live a walkable distance from St. Faith's, please do consider parking a little way from school so that you can enjoy these benefits. We understand that you may wish your children to begin getting used to walking to and from school independently. Our policy is that children may, with parental consent, travel to and from school independently in Years 5 and 6 only. We do not allow Year 5 and 6 pupils to escort their younger siblings home.
