As a Church school, we applaud the aims of promoting the 'Fundamental British Values' outlined by the DfE, and see these as absolutely compatible with our own values of Courage, Trust, Love and Hope. We do believe that these values are not only British, but are fundamental to other countries and societies around the world, and should be acknowledged as such.
There are four values:
Democracy; The Rule of Law; Liberty; Mutual Respect and Tolerance of those with Different Faiths.
At St. Faith's, rather than merely 'tolerating' difference, we encourage and emphasize the acceptance and embracing of difference, showing love and kindness to all.
"12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you,"
Matthew 7:12a
