Design Technology Vision Statement
Through the Design and Technology curriculum at St Faith’s, our children are given the opportunity to be resourceful, imaginative, and enterprising, exploring a range of projects in a variety of contexts. Design and Technology equips our children with the vital skills needed in our rapidly changing world; we encourage them to be curious, resilient problem solvers. By designing and making their own products, they are taught to think carefully about their own and others’ needs, wants and values. They do this whilst learning to have consideration for the environmental impact of how things are made and the longer-lasting implications of materials used for the future.
